Saturday, November 18; 10-5: Holiday Book Sale by the Friends of the Poughkeepsie Public Library District will be held from Friday the 17 through Sunday the 19. Hours are 10 to 8 on Friday and 10-5 Saturday and Sunday. The sale will take place at Locust Grove and will feature high-quality books and media sorted in easy-to-find categories. Saturday, November 18; 1-3: Free movie screenings every Saturday at E.B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello. The first Saturday of the month a teen movie will be shown (rated up to PG-13) and the other Saturdays will be family movies (rated up to PG). They are recent releases or films relevant to an upcoming holiday. Bring a friend and some snacks and settle in for a fun afternoon.
