Heavy On The Ice Cream Focus This Summer

With just a few days until August (ahh, back to school is around the corner), why not take advantage of every last second of summer. With the insanely hot temps, humidity levels, and no shortage of Hudson Valley heatwaves, i'm certain that ice cream has been on the minds of many across the area.

Admit it, you've done ice cream for dinner at least once this summer, right?

So, with all the hundreds of flavor combinations out there, have you ever wished that your favorite frozen treat brand would release that perfect one to fit your every ice cream-desire? Now's your chance to make that happen.

bowl & basket 'Scoop Up Summer' Contest

ShopRite, and their house brand bowl & basket, are looking for customers to 'Scoop Up Summer' and not only suggest, but design their dream ice cream flavor combination.

One of the grand prizes, a chance to have that winning flavor featured at ShopRite stores!

The Scoop up Summer Contest is running now, and all that ice cream lovers need to do is design that ultimate scoop, and enter on the ShopRite website, here. The entry form will ask how many flavors you're wanting in your creation, what type of mix-ins you're adding to your creation, and even ask you to NAME YOUR FLAVOR!

(in case anyone was wondering, i'm going for the mint and dark chocolate combo, mix-ins still TBD).

There will be a total of ten winners; four grand prizes who receive a $500 ShopRite card and the chance to have their winning flavors featured in-store, and six runner-up winners who will get $100 ShopRite cards.

The only thing left for you to do is start crafting the ultimate scoop!
