Roy Rogers used to have several locations in the Hudson Valley back in the day, but they've now since closed. With news coming they're expanding to Matamoras, PA could the Hudson Valley be next?

According to their website, the new restaurant will be located at 105 Delbert Road in Matamoras and anyone interested in updates should follow Roy Rogers social media for information. Named after the famous cowboy movie actor, the company was founded in 1968 by the Marriott Corporation and has more than 50 locations.

If you're looking for a local Roy Rogers, the closest you'll find one is just off the New York State Thruway in Walkill in the Platekill Travel Plaza.

What do you think, should Roy Rogers be looking to expand in places like Poughkeepsie, Middletown or Newburgh? Or does the Hudson Valley have enough places to get a burger and fries? Although I could go for a roast beef sandwich right about now.
