Rosemarie Cahill, a Montgomery Resident, Dies at 38

Rosemarie Cahill of Montgomery passed away peacefully on December 2, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center after a 2 year battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was 38. Born on July 17, 1977 in Cold Spring to John Ameo and Louise Bocchino. Rosemarie grew up in Garrison and graduated from O'Neill High School. After graduation she attended Rockland Community College where she received her nursing degree in 2008. She worked at Danbury Hospital and St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for many years. On August 15, 2008 she married Steven Cahill in St. Mary, Mother of The Church. She loved being a mommy to her girls, partner and best friend to her husband and all the simple things they did together, spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed dancing, swimming and playing the piano. Rosemarie will always be remembered for her bubbly personality, her loving smile, strength and determination. She is survived by her devoted husband Steven Cahill, Loving Twin Girls Lillian and Bellarose Cahill, Dad and Mom John and Bernadette Ameo, Mom Louise Ameo, Sisters Lisa Buglione and Alysia Frank and Brother in Law Ray Buglione. Loving father in Law Michael Cahill and his wife Mary and Grandparents Dominick and Clara Bocchino and Rose Frank. Friends may call on Sunday December 6, 2015 from 2-7pm at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St, Fishkill, New York (845-896-6166). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday December 7, 2015 at 10am at St. Mary, Mother of The Church, Fishkill. Interment to follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
