Popular Hudson Valley Fair Announces 2026 Event Dates

Summer is one of my favorite seasons in New York state. The warm days and sunny skies highlight the beauty of our area. There’s plenty of things to do outdoors including walking, biking, swimming and more.

Events such as fairs, festivals and outdoor concerts are all throughout the Hudson Valley as well. We were able to attend some of our favorite fairs this year and enjoy what they had to offer.

I love fair and festival season! I get excited to sip on fresh squeezed lemonade, get fried dough and take in the energy of these fun events. There’s always rides, games to play and vendors to shop from.

The Orange County Fair took place in Middletown, NY in July. The Ulster County Fair was in New Paltz, NY also in the month of July.

One of my favorite fairs, the Dutchess County Fair, was in Rhinebeck in the month of August.

I enjoyed taking the 92.7/96.9 WRRV, midday show on the road to these fairs! We chatted with listeners, gave away cool swag and more.

While we enjoyed these events, we can look forward to attending other ones as well.

Which Events Can We Attend In The Hudson Valley During October?

The fun doesn’t stop! There’s events coming up in the Hudson Valley in October.

The 28th Annual Rosendale International Pickle Festival will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2025. This will be from 10am until 5pm at the Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz, NY.

There will also be the Narrowsburg Logging Days event on Sunday, October 4 2025. This will be from 11am until 5pm on the riverfront.

Another Hudson Valley event will take place at the Rosendale Theater on October 2, 2025. A Rod Serling Evening is being presented by The Rod Serling Memorial Foundation. This event will highlight the 66th anniversary of the Twilight Zone.

As for The Ulster County Fair, they’re having an event in October that we can attend. The 4-H Fall Fest will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 10am until 2pm. This event will be at the Ulster County Fairgrounds.

As for 2026, we can look forward to attending one of our favorite fairs again!

Popular Hudson Valley Fair Announces 2026 Event Dates

Usually, The Ulster County Fair is in the month of July each year. However, for 2026, we can attend this fair in the month of August.

On social media, The Ulster County Fair made a post. This included fair dates for next year! The Ulster County Fair shared,

“Save the Date! The Ulster County Fair is back August 4-9, 2026!”

Social media users were excited about the announcement of The Ulster County Fair for next year. Other social media users suggested that the fair changes their pricing for the 2026 season.
