Get ready to make some serious decisions, cereal lovers, as a coffee and cereal bar is officially open for business in the Hudson Valley.

Grinds and Grains, located at 3A Church Street (just off Main Street) in New Paltz will offer more than 2 dozen cereals to pick from, plus assorted toppings, dairy and non-dairy milk choices (did somebody say chocolate or strawberry milk), and they are totally eco friendly with biodegradable and compostable cups, bowls and so on.

In addition to their extensive cereal offerings, including gluten free varieties, Grinds and Grains offers baked goods (including regular and vegan products) from Flour & Lead Bakery, locally made granola, and plenty of coffee as well - they even have some photos on their facebook page of fancy latte art, score! According to their recent press release, owners Melanie Caron and Rashid Chambers decided to create this new business and leave their corporate jobs, their hope was to

not only bring joy to the public, but a new sense of community to the neighborhood.  Grinds and Grains will partner with Partners Coffee Roasters located in Brooklyn, NY to bring the finest espresso and drip coffee to the public.  They will offer a range of espresso infused drinks and drip coffee in combination with over 20 different cereals and toppings to choose from.
