As businesses close throughout the Hudson Valley, a new bar and restaurant has just opened in Orange County.

Orange County residents now have a new spot to enjoy drinks and dinner at. Pharmacy Kitchen and Bar has officially opened in Goshen. The restaurant is named after the old pharmacy building that they are located in. They focus on mixology at the bar and live fire-cooking in the restaurant.

Some of the menu highlights are dry-aged USDA Prime beef, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and even vegan options. What really popped to me on the menu was the surf and turf burger, which is a burger topped with lobster chunks and béarnaise sauce, and the fresh Orrechiette in a wine sauce. The bar menu looks killer too. Since they're a mixology bar, they make their own bitters, tinctures, tonics, and juices. There is a big wine and curated liquor selection. My favorite thing that I saw on the cocktail, or elixir, menu was the 2 for $12 shots. The Tired Housewife cocktail sounded great too, which made of is vodka, grenadine, rose water, lemon, and prosecco.

Pharmacy Kitchen and Bar is owned by longtime Hudson Valley restauranteurs Franz Brendle and Karyn Scordo. They have owned restaurants in Middletown and Goshen for as long as 18 years. It's safe to say this isn't their first rodeo. Because they've done this before, they know the importance of customer experience and safety. In light of COVID-19, they are following all of the government set COVID-19 rules. The tables will be six feet apart and guests at bar spaces are six feet apart. Masks are worn by all staff and people must wear masks when out of their seats.

You can find more information on Pharmacy Kitchen and Bar on their website and Facebook.
