Mary Busko, a longtime Newburgh Resident, Dies at 65

She is survived by her husband, Michael and son Alexei (Brandi) of Newburgh; son Nikolai (Diane) of Johnson City, NY; two grandchildren, Jack and Grant of Newburgh; her mother, Emma Sponenburg and brother Mark of Liverpool; brother Robert Sponenburg of Henrietta, NY; her mother-in-law Rose Busko, sister-in- law Karen, & brother-in-law Robert of Liverpool; sister-in-law Deborah of Watertown, NY; as well as and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her father, William Sponenburg, her sister, Billie Major, and father-in-law, Michael Busko.

There will be no visitation. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.

Memorial donations in Mary’s memory may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society or American Cancer Society.
