Marion D. Orsini, a Lifetime Newburgh Resident, Dies at 90

Marion D. Orsini, 90, a lifetime resident of Newburgh, entered into rest on Monday, November 20, 2017 at home with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Anthony and Mildred (Magliato) Santoro, she was born July 17, 1927 in Newburgh.

Marion was a loving and dedicated wife and mother, very compassionate, and her family was everything to her. She dearly loved her dog Coco. She will be greatly missed!

Survivors include her son, Enrico Orsini and his wife Anita of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her sister, Frances Monaco and her husband Frank; sister-in-law Fanny Orsini; grandsons, Christopher Orsini and his wife Stephanie, and Brandon Orsini; great-grandson Milo Orsini; and nieces and nephews, Anthony Monaco, Barbara Pirillo, Carla and Mike Meigel, Linda and Charles Bivona, John and Debbie Horas, and Mary and John Williamson. She was predeceased by her husband, Mario Orsini, her daughter Francine Orsini, sister-in-law Dina and husband Chick DiDonato, and brother-in-law Rocco Orsini.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Monday, November 27 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a service at 6:30 pm. Cremation will be private.
