A buffalo, rhinoceros, and a dead raccoon eating Crackerjacks... and we're just getting started. A recent Ulster County, NY mansion that hit the market back in April has many people scratching their heads, and it all has to do with the "decorations" found in almost every room. There's enough dead animals in this place to start your own zoo.

Massive Estate in Shady, NY

Nothing can prepare you for the amount of carcasses that are inside this sprawling estate, although the first picture in the listing is definitely a clue. A massive set of antlers, complete with bleached skull, greets visitors before they open the front door of the massive 5,500+ square-foot house. It's inside, though, when things start to get weird.

Camp-Inspired Mansion in Ulster County, NY

Andrew Gates of Houlihan Lawrence describes the home as "inspired by the renowned resort, The Point in Upper Saranac". You can see the reflection in the wood-paneled walls, massive windows overlooking the water, and impressive floor-to-ceiling fireplace. One thing this property has that The Point is missing, however, is a dead elephant's head on the living room wall.

Exotic Taxidermy in the Hudson Valley, NY

The antler skull and mounted pachyderm brings the current total of dead animals to two, but you don't have look far to keep the tally going. Next to the elephant is a hippopotamus head, with its jaws gaping wide. If you keep looking around the room, you'll also spy an expired bison, pheasant, and rhinoceros gazing lifelessly at the next potential buyers. Updated total: six. But don't worry, there's more, and they're just as strange.
