LOOK: What is This Weird Green Stuff In The Hudson Valley?

Late one Pleasant Valley night, this weird green stuff was discovered in the Hudson Valley.

I was walking out of a Hudson Valley bar one night (walking, not stumbling, I promise) when I came along this green stuff that was squished all over the parking lot. At first, I thought it was an isolated incident. But then I noticed another, and another, and ANOTHER. They were literally everywhere.

Not knowing what it was, I did what any person would do-I picked it up. Kinda tough, but not that tough. I could definitely squeeze it. But literally, had no idea what it was, and still don't. So that's where I turn to you. What is this? It looks like neon green broccoli to me, but I know that is not a thing.
