A few months ago the Pleasant Valley Library burned down and with it the entire catalog of items that were available to be checked out. The library is currently in the process of rebuilding and they are asking for your help to do so.

At this time they are looking for donations of the following items that are in excellent condition only: books, cds, dvds, graphic novels or current textbooks. They ask that you do not donate out of date or soiled items, just items that are in excellent condition. They are also accepting monetary donations.

The drop off times are as follows:

  • Monday, January 7th 10am - 3pm and 5:30p - 730pm
  • Tuesday, January 8th 10am - 3pm and 5:30p - 730pm
  • Wednesday, January 9th 10am - 3pm and 5:30p - 730pm
  • Thursday, January 10th 10am - 3pm and 5:30p - 730pm
  • Friday, January 11th 10am - 3pm
  • Saturday, January 12th 10am - 3pm
  • (More dates coming soon)

The items can be brought to 3 Maggiacomo Lane, Pleasant Valley located between Amore Pizza and Cotter's Wine and Liquors. Please do not bring the items to where the library is being rebuilt as there are no facilities in place to be able to accept donations at this time.
