Are you unsure where to donate to help the Black Lives Matter movement and get justice for George Floyd? Consider this list of New York State bail funds for protesters.

A lot of people, including myself, are unsure of what to do to help the Black Lives Matter movement and get justice for George Floyd. It's really easy to post your beliefs that black lives matter online, but that's not enough. Go to a protest, sign a petition, and if you can afford to, donate to the cause.

Unfortunately, many protesters have been jailed and they need help paying their bail. There are plenty of links being shared on social media for different bail funds, but I personally want to help my own community pay bail. If you want to support New York protestors by paying their bail, here are some New York State bail funds you can donate to:

Rochester- BLM Rochester

There were bail funds set up for New York City protesters, but those funds have been closed because the donations have been filled. How amazing is that! If you want to donate to the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund for Community Bail & Bond Funds.

You can see a list of bail funds in the U.S., organized by state, here.
