Last Minute Trip to Lake George This Weekend?

If you are looking for something to do with the family, this may be perfect.

The Lake George Winter Carnival is set to kick off this weekend and continue through the month on February according to Visit Lake George and it looks like it could be worth a trip up.

Every Saturday and Sunday in February they have a ton of different events going on where we can take part in cook-offs, races, tournaments, games and all kinds of other activities on the ice and around the village.

Most weekends they will have events like Polar Plunges, pony rides, helicopter rides, horse-drawn carriage rides, and the Lake George Dog's Got Talent Show. Plus each weekend they will feature many children's activities including the, "Hit the Hot Chocolate Bar at the Beach", S'mores at the Beach on Saturdays and a make your own ice cream sundae every Sunday, with fireworks to end each night.
