Parents are rejoicing while kids are crying. Back to school season is upon us.

With the kids going back to school, things can get a little bit crazy on the homefront. Making dinner just ends up being a pain in the butt.

Thankfully we have our friends over at Applebee's helping us out.

In a press release, Applebee's announced that kids can eat free on September 2nd at their Hudson Valley locations in Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, Wallkill, Kingston and Hudson.

On Labor Day, kids can choose from any of the following for their free meal at Applebee's plus a side dish and a fountain drink or juice.

  • Chicken Tenders
  • Chicken Quesadilla
  • Grilled Chicken Alfredo
  • Cheesey Pizza
  • Hamburger
  • Cheeseburger
  • Corn Dog
  • Chicken Taco

Kids Eat Free event is for dine-in only and the limit is for 2 free kids meals per adult entrée purchase.  Applebee’s locations in upstate New York, Connecticut and Sayre, PA will also be participating.
