The Dutchess County Fair opens August 19th and runs through the 24th in Rhinebeck, New York. You still have plenty of time to get online to dutchessfair.com to see all the fair has to offer this year and to order up your tickets in advance.
The Dutchess County fair, just like the other county fairs, offers great rides and entertainment. They are also the home to one of the cutest fair events in New York, if you ask me. Whatever you do, don't miss the Stick Pony Rodeo.

How to Register For the Stick Pony Rodeo at the Dutchess County Fair
Registration has to be in by August 20th. To register, go to dutchessfair.com or follow this link. The Stick Pony Rodeo will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in the Livestock Pavilion immediately following the parade of champions.
The Stick Pony Rodeo has free entry. It is open to girls and boys between the ages of 4 and 7. There are 3 events to compete in: Barrel Racing, Steer Roping, and Bull Riding. You are welcome to bring your stick pony if you have one; otherwise, if you don't, the fair has one you can borrow.
