Sloop Factory Announces Temporary Closure, Teases ‘New Look’
If you're a Hudson Valley resident who has never visited this local brewery and restaurant, well we hate to break it to you, but you've been doing it wrong.
A unique location that has a super cool space to hang with themed nights, and signature beer that has been featured near and far, Sloop Brewing Company is truly Hudson Valley homemade.
The Quick Scoop on Sloop
What started as a home brew type situation out of a Poughkeepsie garage in 2011 has evolved into an award-winning and ever-growing brewery and 'factory' out of East Fishkill. Sloop Brewing got their name from the boats that originally moved both people and cargo up and down the Hudson River.
They've got a combination of restaurant, tasting room and brewery, all built into the shell of the former IBM semiconductor plant in East Fishkill just off Rt. 84.
Their restaurant menu is cited as 'a passport through international street foods presented in our own style, utilizing traditional techniques & authentic ingredients, and their philosophy has always been that they are 'grounded in the craft and tradition of brewing. Open to adventure.'
