Is It Too Soon To Think About Christmas Shopping?

It may be October, but I already have December on the mind.

As I write this it is Monday, October 14, 2019. I just bought Halloween candy today. I have Halloween decorations and pumpkins all over my apartment. But you know what I can't stop thinking about? Christmas shopping.

I'm a planner at heart, almost to a fault. I like things a particular way and every single detail thought out. So I take that same obsessive method and apply it to my Christmas shopping. I plan it all out. What I'm getting for who, where I have to buy it, and when I'll get the best deal. But am I crazy for thinking about it this soon?

Look, even if it is, it's not going to change anything. It's the Christmas obsessed person part of me, that I bury deep down for 10 out of 12 months a year.
