I guess those sharp turns just sneak right up on you.

On Monday night at approximately 10:30 p.m. Saugerties Police responded to the Knights of Columbus in the Village of Saugerties, for the report of a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles.

Upon arrival, police interview the operator of the vehicle, identified as Andrew Yonnetti, 26, of Tannersville, N.Y. He reported that he was traveling north on 9W, when he failed to negotiate a turn and left the roadway, entering the parking lot of the Knights of Columbus striking an unoccupied parked vehicle.

A chemical test of Yonnetti breathe resulted in a BAC of .15%. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, and Failure to Stay right.

Yonnetti was processed at police headquarters and released to a third party. He is schedule to return to court at a later date.
