Another data leak has occurred at another local restaurant.

Chili's Grill & Bar revealed that some customers' payment information may have been exposed in a recent data incident, according to CBS News. They believe that malware was used to access the data.

In a statement published by Chili's Grill & Bar's parent company, Brinker International, they state that on May 11, they discovered certain restaurants had a breach. Brinker International believes the leak was from March 2018-April 2018.

The statement from Brinker International says that they are working with a third party company to determine how widely affected customer information was. They have informed law enforcement as well.

Chili's Grill & Bar, and Brinker International says that it is not necessary to close bank accounts and cancel credit cards. But they do encourage customers to keep an eye on their accounts and transactions.
