National Cheeseburger Day was Tuesday.

I'm really not a huge burger fan, but every once in a while I'll get this craving for a great burger. On National Cheeseburger Day, one local restaurant was deemed to have the some of the best burgers in the state.

According to I Love NY, Blazer Pub in Purdys, part of North Salem specifically in Westchester County, has one of the 11 best burgers in New York State.  This pub has been run by the same family since 1971. The menu is simple pub food, making it classic and tasty. I Love NY says that cards are not accepted so make sure to bring cash.

While I've never been to Blazer Pub, I have had excellent burgers from Meyers Olde Dutch in Beacon. The pork and bacon burger was out of this world. (Great, now I'm hungry and have that burger craving I was talking about).
