Hudson Valley Fall Bucket List: Oktoberfest
If you want to have the most epic fall, follow the Hudson Valley Fall Bucket List.
Fall means a lot of things for people, apples, pumpkin spice, and for some beer. Oktoberfest in Germany officially starts on September 22 and runs through October 8. But in the Hudson Valley, Oktoberfests are happening throughout September and October.
German beer is actually my favorite so Oktoberfest has an extra special place in my heart. These are some of my favorite Oktoberfest events in going on in the Hudson Valley this fall:
Millhouse Brewing Company Oktoberfest Dinner
While it's not a true Oktoberfest, Millhouse's Oktoberfest Dinner sounds awesome. Not only do you get brats, steins of their seasonal Oktoberfest beer and all the German sides, but you also get to take home a 4-pack of their Oktoberfest.
Germania of Poughkeepsie's Oktoberfest 2018
If you're looking to get down with your inner German self, this is one of the most authentic Oktoberfest celebrations in the Hudson Valley. A day filled with music, food, and of course beer.
Bear Mountain Oktoberfest At Anthony Wayne
I haven't attended their Oktoberfest before but it has been on my bucket list and I think this may be the year I make it happen. Bear Mountain Inn is beautiful and I've heard it's one of the best, and largest, celebrations of the season around.
While those are my three favorites in the Hudson Valley, there are plenty of other events and places that celebrate Oktoberfest in the Hudson Valley. They're organized by date and then some great German restaurants are listed below:
