Hudson Valley Book Store Lands On CNN Instagram
A Hudson Valley bookstore caught the attention of CNN's Instagram page on Saturday. Rough Draft in Kingston put out a display of books from authors who were from countries that President Trump deemed 'shit-holes' last week.
Store owner Anthony Stromoski gave a quote to CNN stating that he was previously a teacher in New York City and had very nice things to say about his students from Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
New York bookstore Rough Draft Bar & Books created a display featuring books by “writers from s##thole countries” in response to comments reportedly made by President Trump earlier this week during a meeting at the White House. “I was previously a teacher in New York City and most of my students came from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and they were the hardest working, strongest, best people I’ve ever met,” the owner of the store told CNN. To get an idea of what it's really like at Rough Draft, Visit Vortex Hudson Valley recently paid a visit. They have a great selection of beer and wine. They envision themselves as a place for people to come drink, read and enjoy events most nights of the week.
