HENRY G. PAGE, JR., of LaGrange, NY passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 2, 2018. Henry was currently President and Board member of H G Page and Sons, a family owned Lumber and Building Material Business started in 1924 by Henry’s father. He was a lifelong Duchess County resident. Born July 16, 1936 to Henry G Page, Sr and Josephine Rittinger Page.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Page. He is survived by his son, Henry III and Shannon Page and their children, Brooke and Hayden. He is also survived by his son, Kevin and Candace Page and their children, Victoria and Kevin Cameron. He is survived by his brother, William and sister-in-law, Helen Page and many cousins, nephews and nieces. His son, Keith Page and brother, John Page predeceased him.
Henry is also survived by the Love of his Life, Jane Sullivan and Family: Gayle and Edward Miller, Michael and Kerry Sullivan, Hugh and Mariellyn Sullivan, Sean Sullivan (Jennifer) Joseph and Theresa Sullivan, Timothy and Mary Sullivan and also the Sullivan Grandchildren Michael Jr. (Jaclyn), Jack, Daniel, Mackenzie, Brendan, Cameron, Brandon, Kianna, Lexxis, Soumaya, Kayla, Jenna and Connor.
Henry was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Spending many hours enjoying the waters on his boat, Lumber 1. He was involved in Commercial Building & Leasing and Land Development. Henry served on the Board of Northeastern Retail Lumber Association for over 35 years, where he was a Past president and Director. He was also past President of the Mid-Hudson Lumber Dealers Assoc. and was Lumberman of the Year in 1990.
He was a founding owner and director of North East Treaters Inc. Henry was also co-founder of the lumber co-op ENAP (Everyone Needs A Profit) in 1967 with five other lumber retailers. Henry served the cooperative in various capacities for 51 years including his continuous service on the Board of Directors. He was an innovative leader and good friend to many in the industry and seemed to have been on one of every committee at some point and served as president in the early years. ENAP is now known as LBM Advantage, Newburgh, NY where he was a Director and past chairman of National Accounts.

Henry was also active in the following organizations: Co-founder and Life Member of the
LaGrange Emergency Squad, Past Assistant Chief and was LaGrange Fire Commissioner 1975-
1986. Charter member of the LaGrange Rotary Club. Member of the Pok. Elks Club. Member
of the Mid County Rod & Gun Club and the Mohawk Rod & Gun Club. Henry was also a
member of the Friday Lunch Group at the Milanese Restaurant in Pok.

The family would like to thank Esther Charles for her loving care as well as the Crescenzo
Family from Tina’s Restaurant in Pok. for supplying soup, meals and love. A special Thank You
to Bob Lama and Mellina Weiss for their years of friendship and the many members of
LaGrange Fire District who came to Henry’s aid on numerous occasions.
Calling hours will be at the Wm. G. Miller Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 4:00-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:00am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 NY Rte. 82, Lagrangeville, NY 12540. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery, 62 Lagrange Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603
