Go figure...LOL!

As we await the official start of the reopening of the Hudson Valley with phase one expected to start sooner than later most of us can't wait to hop in the car and go somewhere...anywhere.

If you haven't been out driving much over the last few weeks and months, one of the big things that's been going on out in the world is that gas prices have been their lowest it quite some time. Honestly I can't remember a time recently that prices were under $2 a gallon, so you might want to fill up sooner than later because prices are starting to go back up, just in time for the holiday weekend.

According to ABC 7, the average price for a gallon of gas in the state of New York is $2.16, which is up one cent from last week. Across the Hudson Valley we seem to be a bit under the state average with prices ranging from as low as $1.93 in Ulster County and most parts of Dutchess and Orange county at or around $2.09 according to Gas Buddy.

Triple A has said that as areas in New York begin to reopen we can all expect to see a jump in prices at the pump as the demand for gas will go up, resulting in prices inching higher.

If you are in and around the Hudson Valley and see low gas prices, make a note of it and share the prices with us by calling or texting us through the Wolf app and let's hope that we can enjoy the low prices for a little bit longer.
