One more nice day before a big storm comes in for the weekend. Friday will be cool and dry, but high pressure will continue to move east out of the Hudson Valley. This will mean sunny and breezy conditions with temps around 50.

A storm system is expected to track along the east coast late Friday night into Saturday. This storm will be widespread rain and mountain snow along with strong gusty winds.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 52. Light south wind.

Friday Night: Cloudy, with a low around 37. Rain moves in after midnight. Saturday: Rain. High near 47. Northeast wind 10 to 14 mph.

Saturday Night: Rain likely, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 40. Northeast wind 5 to 11 mph.

Sunday: A chance of rain, mainly before 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 52.

Sunday Night: Scattered showers. Low around 41.
