Franklin Troiso, 73, a resident of Rutland, MA since 2013 and formerly of Wappingers Falls, died peacefully on June 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Brooklyn on June 11, 1943, he was the son of Frank and Grace Troiso. Franklin proudly served our country in the US Navy. He was employed as a Communications Manager for Soloman Brothers in Manhattan for 25 years and then by the United States Postal Service for 20 years, retiring in 2011. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Rutland and St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. He enjoyed gardening and watching the NY Mets.

On November 24, 1968 in Brooklyn, Franklin married Debbie Pullara who survives at home. He is also survived by his sons and their wives, Frank and Josephine Troiso of Stormville and Chris and Danielle Troiso of Rutland, MA; his grandchildren, Ava, Alex, Brianna and Marc; and his brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Sara Troiso of Commack.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by military honors.
