Frances A. Morris, a Poughkeepsie Resident, Dies at 98

Frances A. Morris, 98, of the town of Poughkeepsie, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center. She was born in St. Louis, Michigan July 14, 1917. Mrs. Morris was predeceased by her husband, John K. Morris on October 2, 1976. She is survived by her children, Stephen Morris (Krista) of Wappingers Falls, John Morris (Susan) of Hyde Park, Thomas Morris (Caryl) of Poughkeepsie, Robert Morris (Patricia) of Crawfordsville, Fla., James Morris (Carol) of Tivoli, and Catherine Meyer (John C.) of Poughkeepsie, several grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Martin dePorres Church, Cedar Valley Road, Poughkeepsie.
