Elaine DiGregorio, a Wappingers Resident, Dies at 71

Elaine DiGregorio, better known as Mrs. "D", was reunited with her beloved husband Frank in eternal peace on Sunday morning June 25, 2017. She was 71 years of age. Loving wife to Frank DiGregorio and friend to many of the village of Wappingers residents where she resided for 45 years. Elaine was an integeral part of the village's girls softball as well as little league baseball. Elaine retired from the U.S. Postal service after 19 years. Her golden years were spent spoiling her grandchildren and enthuiastically cheering on the Huson Valley Renegades. Elaine is survived by her brother, John Tompson, her two sons, Steven and Matthew, as well as grandchildren, Brett, Anthony, Shawna, Robert, Joseph, Angela, Richie, Maria, and greatgrandson Weston. Friends may call at the Delehanty Funeral Home 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM. Services will be held during the visitation.
