A new convenience store chain is set to open its first Hudson Valley location.

According to a Facebook post, Farm Stores is set to open a location in the Hudson Valley. Farm Stores is a drive-thru convenience store. According to their website, Farm Stores carries a variety of items like fresh produce, dairy, baked goods, and household items. The best part? You order online or via their app and they'll bring it right to your car.

The Farm Stores Hudson Valley Facebook page reveals that the first location in the Hudson Valley will open in Wappingers. It's set to open in fall 2020. It's not clear where the store will open. But the thought of a drive-thru convenience store, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, is exciting. The more social distancing I can do, the better.

Currently, the closest open location is in Florida. Florida the state, not Florida, New York. But there are many planned locations for New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and even in Long Island.
