Are you afraid of clowns? Even if you aren't, this is kind of scary.

Over the last few weeks we have been hearing stories from all over the place about scary clowns looking to harm people.

It looks like it's now getting closer to the Hudson Valley. According to WTEN, creepy clowns have been sighted in the Albany area.

The two reported sightings in the Capital Region were at an apartment complex in Clifton Park and another one in Halfmoon. Police told WTEN that in both cases the people who saw these clowns were so scared that they called police and filed reports.

One case happened on Monday at the Fox Run Apartments in Clifton Park and the woman who reported the clown sighting told WTEN that a “creepy clown” was standing outside one of the laundry rooms well after dark. She went on to say that “It was just really creepy. Like he was just standing there in the middle of the street and so I was freaked out because of everything that was happening in the south.”

Saratoga County Sheriff Lt. Dan Morley says at this time no crime has been committed, but they are paying close attention to these areas and as of now they have not been able to locate the person or persons responsible.

The Sheriff Department is also saying that there’s no reason for the public to be scared at this time.
