Bonnie Louise Drew, a Longtime Area Resident, Dies at 85
WAPPINGERS FALLS - Bonnie Louise Drew, 85, an area resident for more than 30 years, died on November 21, 2017 at the Pines of Poughkeepsie.
Born in St. Regis Falls, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Ethel Bailey. Bonnie has worked for many years as a sales clerk at Sears in Poughkeepsie. She spent her retirement years in the Town of Waverly where she was very active in the community. She served as both a Town Councilwoman and Town Clerk, and was on the Board of the St. Regis Falls Adult Center. She was a Literacy volunteer and a member of the Historical Society of St. Regis Falls. She had also served as the President of TOPS in Dutchess County.
Bonnie was married to Roland Drew for more than 50 years. He predeceased her on June 21, 2007. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Deborah May, Robin and John Licari, and Gary and Hyon Suk Drew; her grandchildren, Evan and Nicole Bottomley, Kenneth and Kathleen Licari, Daniel Drew, Adrienne Licari, and Kyla and Sam Palmisano; her great-grandchildren, Kameron and Taylor Bottomley, Elise and Silas Drew, Connor and Patrick Licari; and her brother, Lawrence Bailey. She was also predeceased by her brother, Donald Bailey.
