This coming Friday, Nov. 29 is not only a day to get crazy good deals at department stores and malls, it is also Record Store Day. A chance for you to do two cool things at once. You will be able to get your hands on some awesome limited edition music, plus you will be helping out your local independent record store. What could be better?

Some of the cool releases this time around come from Eric Clapton, Alice Cooper, The Doors, Cheap Trick, Bad Company, Aretha Franklin and a whole bunch more. You'll be able to get all kinds of vinyl and reissues with bonus tracks. Locally, Darkside Records on Dutchess Turnpike in Poughkeepsie will be participating.

Tune in to The Boris and Robyn Show this morning to find out more about Record Store Day. We will have the folks from Darkside Records in to tell us more about the day's special releases and the celebration at the store. For more information about Darkside Records and Record Store Day, visit their website.

Listen to the Boris & Robyn Show weekday mornings from 6AM to 10AM on 101.5 WPDH. Stream us live through the websiteAlexa-enabled deviceGoogle Home or the WPDH mobile app.
