Burton was an avid Bridge player, stamp collector and rock hound. He loved doing crossword and sodoku puzzles.
Bertha M. Lee, a Lifelong Area Resident, Dies at 87
Bertha was a Pharmacy Technician at Hopewell Pharmacy for 35 years until her retirement in 1995. She was a life member of Hopewell Reformed Church and sung in the church choir. She was also a member of the Hopewell Hose Ladies Auxiliary and a Majorette for Hopewell Hose.
Fortunato J. Pellicano, a Longtime Area Resident, Dies at 81
Fred was a parishioner of St. Denis Church. He was an amateur radio operator “WB2SUH” and was a member of the Amateur Radio Relay League. He enjoyed building radio-controlled model airplanes and boats, fishing, and computers. He had a great sense of humor and will forever be remembered for the jokes he told. Fred traveled the world with his family and took great pride in his home and property.
Edward F. Dolan, an East Fishkill Resident, Dies at 60
Ed graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communication arts from NYIT and enjoyed a successful career as a three-time Emmy Award winning audio engineer in radio and television. His current professional endeavor was working as a set dresser with IATSE Local #52 on prime-time television productions throughout New York City and the surrounding areas. Among his many passions were music, restoring vintage motorcycles, and waiting patiently for his beloved Cleveland Browns to have a winning season.
Carol Grace Segur, a Hopewell Junction Resident, Dies at 98
Carol was for years a friend of the Trinity United Methodist Church in LaGrangeville. Besides enjoying family and friends, she loved to garden, bake, and watch her favorite shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Most of all, she loved listening to her country music.
Christine Lenden, a Fishkill Resident, Dies at 88
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Suzanne and Cory Crew of Putnam Valley and Leslie Puleo and Larry Marchese of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Samantha Goldman and her husband Jared, Cory Crew, Jr., and Kristen Marchese; and her great-grandsons, Lucas and Connor.

David A. Cartelli, a Wappingers Falls Resident, Dies at 49
David A. Cartelli, 49, of Wappingers Falls, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center. He was born in the Bronx June 12, 1968, the son of the late James and Anne Buonaiuto Cartelli. David was employed as a hair stylist at East Coast Salon, Wappingers Falls, and formerly at Davide' in Wappingers.
Harvey Simon, a Wappingers Falls Resident, Dies at 73
On October 24, 1982, he was married in Yonkers, to the former Christine Behuniak who survives. Mr. Simon was employed as a printer at Commercial Offset Printing in New Windsor. He was a Navy veteran serving from 1963 to 1967.
Virginia Glassey, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 95
A graduate of Newburgh Free Academy, Ginny worked for the Newburgh Enlarged City School District at New Windsor School until her retirement in 1978. She was a longtime member of Gardnertown United Methodist Church.
