Where are the worst pot holes in the Hudson Valley? No seriously, I'm new to the area. Help a brother out.

For as long as I've been a New York resident I've been thrilled with the quality of the roads but lately I've noticed that around here, the roads have been slipping lately.

After a harsh winter there will be a few holes popping up.

Growing up and driving the streets of Detroit, Flint and even the dirt back roads of Michigan, I learned a thing or two about how to combat potholes. There are a few things you can do to fight  pot hole epidemic.

1. Drive at tortoise speed at the risk of causing a road rage incident. I don't advise this choice.

2. You can just continue to drive like a maniac. Run right through them, say sorry to your and ask for forgiveness later. Be cautioned though. I know someone who's car was totaled from a bent frame from hitting  pothole too hard.

3. Did you know that you can actually get tire, wheel and separate pot hole insurance through most insurance companies and even car dealer. It's a beautiful thing and it's really worth the low cost per month. It's usually cheaper than Netflix. I once hit a pothole, blew my tire out and bent my wheel. I received road side service, a new tire and factory wheel in one day and for free.

We also asked where the worst pot holes were. Here's some clues.

"Horrible one on the Arterial. Big 2 ft hole with a bit of pavement in the middle. It looks like someone scooped out the shape of a doughnut. You can't see it coming and it's deep and mean. It kills me that the state wont fix your car if you smash it on one of these".

"The biggest hole is up in Albany but that is one that starts with the letter "A".
