According to Newsweek, the post office holiday hours will vary by location. So if you're looking to mail something or do anything else at a post office, its best to check with each specific location for opening and closing times. They could close early as well on Christmas Eve so watch out for that. USPS Blue Collection Boxes will also be affected by Christmas Eve as mail will be collected by noon. USPS mail will be delivered as it normally would.

Newsweek reports that social security offices will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But thankfully, all online social security services will be available, like applying for retirement, disability, and Medicare. Social security offices will reopen on December 26.
