‘American Chopper’ Needs Fans for Concert Filming
Cameras began rolling on Monday for season two of the American Chopper reboot, and Orange County Choppers is already looking for residents to be on camera.
The Teutul family has been back in the spotlight ever since Discovery announced they were bringing back the wildly popular reality series. While American Chopper is big in America, it's even bigger in Germany, where the show continues to be a national sensation.
One of Germany's biggest bands will be traveling all the way to Newburgh this weekend to put on a free concert at the OCC Cafe. Frei.Wild usually performs to sold-out stadiums in Europe, but will be making a rare, small-venue, appearance at the Cafe on Saturday, July 14 at 9pm.
Here's a sample of what you can expect.
Admission is free and there is no cover change. They're looking for a big crowd since the entire performance will be filmed for the band's new video. Of course, film crews will most likely also be on hand from American Chopper.
Filming for the next season of the reality series has already begun, so you can expect to see more chopper unveilings, concerts and events scheduled as the cameras continue to roll in Newburgh this summer.
