Are you the big holiday shopper in your family? If you are then you're probably ready or at least, getting ready for Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sales. And just shopping in general.

If you're more into shopping on everyone's favorite online store, Amazon, you may want to be extra careful this year.

The Town of Hyde Park Police Department is reporting a new scam making the rounds in the Hudson Valley. According to their Facebook post, victims will receive a call claiming to be Amazon. Then you will get an automated message saying  "there's a problem with your recent order, press 1 to cancel your order, press 2 to speak with a representative."

It doesn't matter which number you pick, according to the statement the message will say your order has been canceled. They will then direct you to a website that looks exactly like Amazon.

The site will then ask for you to re-enter all of your information, from address to credit card information.

If you think you've been a victim of this scam, contact Amazon through the websites Security and Privacy page.
