
9 Orange County Businesses Caught Selling Alcohol To Minors: SLA
Multiple Hudson Valley businesses were caught selling alcohol to minors during a county-wide operation.
The New York State Liquor Authority (SLA) reports that on Thursday, March 7, 2019, an underage sting was conducted in Orange County. The Washingtonville and Blooming Grove Police Departments worked with the SLA and underage agents to conduct an underage drinking sting at 16 businesses. 9 of the businesses sold alcohol to the minor.

The SLA reports these businesses did not sell alcohol to the minor:

Those charged by the SLA with underage sales could face penalties of up to $10,000 per violation, with fines starting from $2,500 for a first-time offense. Repeat offenders could have their license suspended or revoked.
