8 Arrested Following Prostitution Sweep in Orange County
Police conducted a prostitution sweep in Middletown and it resulted in eight arrests.
On June 8th, 2017 the City of Middletown Police, along with assistance from the State Police conducted a prostitution sweep in the downtown area.
The sweep resulted in the arrests of eight individuals:
- Yerad Jimenez-Ayala, 40 of Bloomingburg - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
- Robert Piatt, 48 of Wurtsboro - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute
- Eduardo Balseca, of Wallkill - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Sanjaya Lowe, 34, of Middletown - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute
- Antonio Esposito, 47, of Chester - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute
- Naftuly Mendlovitz, 38, of Monroe - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute
- Joel Epstein, 36, of Monroe - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute
- Daniel Rios, 26, of Middletown - charged with Patronizing a Prostitute
All subjects were arraigned in the City of Middletown Court. Dispositions are not known at this time.
