A new report has been published that ranks the best school districts in each state, and across the U.S.

Niche recently published their annual list of the top school districts in New York State. While many districts in the Hudson Valley were in the top 100, only 2 mid-Hudson Valley school districts made the cut. To compile the list, Niche looked at reviews from students and parents, based on data from the U.S. Department of Education. They also looked at state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and much more.

According to Niche, the only two mid-Hudson Valley school districts that made the top 100 in New York State are Monroe-Woodbury School District and Cornwall School District. Monroe-Woodbury was ranked 77 and Cornwall came in at 92.
