A winter weather advisory has been announced for parts of the Hudson Valley although thankfully snow is not in the forecast at this time. The National Weather Service has issued the advisory for Ulster and Sullivan County from 8 PM Saturday through 2 PM Sunday.

Temperatures are supposed to max out at 65 Saturday before dropping into the low to mid 30's Saturday night. The sun will poke its head out before the showers and the eventual chance of sleet and freezing rain settles in. Sunday rain is very likely with only a high of 35.

Heading into next week, we are looking at a rainy Monday with a high of 47. Grab your thunder buddy because thunderstorms are a possibility as well. There's a chance of some snow showers Monday night but we imagine spring will be here eventually. Or maybe it'll jump straight from winter to summer. That mother nature has a great sense of humor these days.
