Did you lose this ring? If not, you may still be able to help find its Hudson Valley owner.

The ring was discovered by Facebook user Elizabeth Harper in the parking lot of the Table Talk Diner in Poughkeepsie. Instead of keeping it, Harper decided to track down the ring's owner on Facebook.

So far her post has been shared by almost 4 thousand people, but the owner still hasn't been located.

Harper says she believes the ring is a man's wedding band. The ring has an inscription on the inside that reads "Not all who wander are lost." While that doesn't really sound like the kind of sentiment someone would expect to see on a wedding ring, some keen observers have noted that the quote is from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.
