Two Fugitives Wanted In Tennessee Spotted in Hudson Valley
Update: The pair who are wanted in Tennessee for attempted murder and kidnapping was spotted near the local area again. Police also say the pair might be responsible for invading a home in the Hudson Valley and someone from the home. Help finding the two is still needed.
New York State Police are searching the Pine Bush and Bloomingburg areas for two fugitives from Tennessee Jarret Cole Heitmann, 24, 6' 01" , 165 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes and Makayla Danielle Stilwell, 22, 5'09" ,145 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes were spotted on the Ulster, Sullivan, and Orange County border, and are wanted in Tennessee for kidnapping and attempted murder. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at (845) 344 - 5300 in Middletown or the Wurtsboro barracks at (845) 888 - 2494.
Update 11:56pm Saturday: The Times Herald Record of Middletown reported that the pair invaded a home early Saturday morning in Bloomingburg near The Eagle's Nest occupied by Robert Grumet and apparently injured Mr. Grumet and took some guns according to neighbors in the area. Both Heitmann and Stilwell who apparently are dating are still at large and considered armed and dangerous according to New York State Police.
