Dutchess County Executive Marcus Molinaro declared a State of Emergency in Dutchess County for Tuesday at 4:30AM.

The declaration follows New York's decision to declare a State of Emergency at midnight.

Dutchess County's declaration prohibits travel on all roadways in the county except for emergency responders, medical personnel, public works employees and others involved in emergency operations.

All Dutchess County offices, courts and parks will be closed on Tuesday in light of the State of Emergency. Bus service is also canceled.

Our on-air staff at the radio station are considered essential personnel and will use the public airwaves to keep you informed of developing news and information for the duration of the storm.

Some of our radio station personalities recorded a special service announcement yesterday to emphasize the importance of staying off the roads during the blizzard conditions.
