Traffic Stop Leads to Large Drug Bust in Hudson Valley
A routine traffic stop turned out to be anything but routine when police say they found an assortment of drugs.
On Sunday, State Police conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on Central Avenue in the Town of Clarkstown. Police say the driver, 44-year-old Peter Milshtein, of New City, was driving with a suspended license.
A search of the vehicle allegedly led to the discovery of a large quantity of ecstasy, marijuana, and Xanax.
New York State Police in Haverstraw charged Milshtein, with 1st-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A felony, 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and aggravated unlicensed operation.
Milshtein was arraigned in the Town of Clarkstown Court and remanded to Rockland County Jail without bail.
