The Wienermobile Is Headed Toward the Hudson Valley
If you see an enormous hot dog driving through the Hudson Valley don't be alarmed, it's just the Wienermobile.
Oscar Mayer's crew of hot dog ambassadors are scheduled to descend upon the Hudson Valley next week, with planned stops in Poughkeepsie, Newburgh and Washingtonville.
It's been over a year since the Wienermobile invaded our area. For most, the last visit came as a surprise, with people doing a double-take after seeing the giant hot dog vehicle driving right by. This year, with the help of the official Oscar Mayer app, we have plenty of warning to prepare for the big wiener's return.
According to Oscar Mayer, the Wienermobile is scheduled to make the following Hudson Valley stops:
May 5
Stop and Shop in the Brotherhood Plaza in Washingtonville from 1pm to 6pm.
May 6
Stop and Shop on Burnett Boulevard in Poughkeepsie from Noon to 5pm.
May 7
Stop and Shop on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie from Noon to 5pm.
May 8
Stop and Shop on Route 300 in Newburgh from Noon to 4pm.
If you wind up visiting the Wienermobile, you should know that it's almost impossible to resist taking a selfie.
If you take a picture we'd love to see it. Feel free to upload your wiener pictures to us on the free WPDH app or post them on our Facebook page.
