The Struts braved blizzard-like conditions to perform a memorable set of acoustic music at WRRV Sessions Thursday in Newburgh. The English born rock and roll band was in the area to perform on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and made their way to the Hudson Valley the very next day.

The half-hour acoustic set was preceded by a meet and greet with the fans. They were very personable from the get go and decided to take requests during their performance. Highlights included renditions of 'Kiss This', 'Put Your Money On Me' and the new single 'Body Talks'

The band has been working on moving things forwards for the better part of four years straight, from the launch of their debut album until the release of their second studio album, Young and Dangerous.  They're out supporting it with the 'Body Talks' Tour and you've got one more chance to see them in New York, on Tuesday, November 20th. They'll be on Long Island for a show at The Paramount in Huntington.

A recent collaboration with Kesha has earned nearly 10 million views on YouTube since its upload. Unfortunately, Kesha didn't show up in Newburgh for Sessions, must have been the bad weather.
