A new report shows what we all already know: the Hudson Valley is EXPENSIVE.

New York Upstate published a report that compared the average rent costs in most expensive town in each of the 53 upstate counties in New York. By the way, I don't consider the Hudson Valley upstate, so let's get that straight.

Anyways, of the 53 counties New York Upstate looked at, the Hudson Valley snagged the top 4 spots of most expensive rent, shocker. Orange County, Dutchess County, Ulster County, and Putnam County were ranked the top 4 most expensive counties to rent in Upstate NY.

Orange County's most expensive town to live in was the Hamlet of West Point, which had a median rent of $3216. Dutchess County's most expensive town to live in was Hamlet of Merritt Park, with a median rent of $2774. Hamlet of Peach Lake was Ulster County's most expensive town to live in, having a median rent of $2163. Finally, Putnam County's most expensive town to live in was Hamlet of High Falls, that had a median rent of $1895.

Honestly, no surprise here. The Hudson Valley is crazy expensive to live in. Tell me something I don't know.
