Steven L. Goodman, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 44
Steven L. Goodman, of Newburgh, entered into rest on April 22, 2017. He was 44. The son of Gail (Barrett) Goodman and the late Benjamin Goodman, he was born February 16, 1973 in Bronx, NY. He married Melissa (Holmes) Goodman on October 17, 2009. Melissa survives at home.
Steven attended Bronx Science, OCCC and SUNY New Paltz, and was a Logistics Coordinator for NFI Industries. He always had a smile on his face and was a big kid at heart. He loved Disney, NY Giants, and NY Yankees, but most of all he loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife Melissa; his children Morgan and Zachary; his sister Alyssa Cohen and her husband David of Coram, NY; and his mother Gail. He was predeceased by his father Benjamin.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm Tuesday, April 25 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a service at 7:30 pm.
The family would like to thank all at St. Luke’s and Vassar Bros. Hospital for their compassionate and most professional care given to Steve, as well as the care and kindness shown to his family and friends.
Steve asked in lieu of flowers, donations be made to his children, Morgan and Zachary, for their education.
